Revitol Scar Cream Review

For people who don’t like steroids or laser surgery, it’s possible to reduce a scar with a good scar removal cream. What constitutes “good” is very simple: does it actually fade the scar in question? If the answer is yes, you’re on a winner.

So what about Revitol Scar Cream…is it any good and does it reduce scarring?

The short answer is yes. The formula’s not as powerful as Dermefface, nor the packaging as attractive or the bottle as convenient to use. However, for people who want to reduce the appearance of scarring – and I’m guessing that’s you – if you buy Revitol Scar Cream and use it long enough, you should see a difference.

Introducing: Revitol Scar Cream

Revitol isn’t a flashy member of the skin care industry, with a variety of skin creams marketed on a website that’s not so helpful. I don’t like that it doesn’t provide details of the ingredients used in its products. In similar matter, there’s no explanation of what’s in Revitol Scar Cream or reduce the appearance of scarring, or even a realistic timeline.

Now that I’ve lifted that off my chest, I can tell you that Revitol Scar Cream does actually work. A thick cream offered in a traditional jar, it absorbs fairly well and faded scarring for me personally in about five months of use.

In other words, it works, but slower than Dermefface.

Who Makes It

Revitol offers several different products. The company touts that its products use all-natural ingredients and that they’re assembled by “experienced doctors”. Don’t know if I buy that, nor am I impressed with a website that looks like it was thrown together in five minutes. Revitol should put more effort into its marketing. There’s no question about that!

The Good

Revitol Scar Cream reduces scars. In a pass or fail situation, Revitol Scar Cream passes that standard.

Also, it works for scars of most origins. And that 90 day money-back guarantee actually puts it up there with Skinception as far as the whole ‘try it risk free’ factor goes.

The product uses natural ingredients and is fairly gentle on the skin. These are all good things.

The Bad

While Revitol Scar Cream does reduce scarring, it works slower than Dermefface, and the results aren’t quite as dramatic.

Pricing. Revitol Scar Cream used to be a fairly good value. But recently they’ve increased the price of each jar, so you’re paying forty bucks for a month supply. That’s too high for a formula like this.

Disclosure. In this day of parabens and thousands of chemicals that make their way into skin care products (many of which are dangerous), companies that make and market skin products need to tell us what’s in the formula. Put it on the website, front row, center. This also tells us what the ingredients do, and if they in fact work or not!

Finally, Revitol really needs to work on that website. Yes, in a major way.

Summary

Revitol Scar Cream isn’t the best scar removal cream, but it does reduce scarring. That’s what matters, so if you’re wondering if you should buy the product, then go for it. The issue here is that it works slower than Dermefface because it’s a weaker formula, and the results aren’t as good. Go with Dermefface first. After that, try Revitol Scar Cream.
